Lake Development Gets $565,000 Loan

According to the Apache County Recorder's Office, a Concho City, Arizona developer got a loan in the amount of $565,000. Deed of Trust # 2009-001873, Reception date 03-25-2009, lists Concho West Shore Properties LLC, and Sintra Capital LLC as the Trustor. Pioneer Title Agency Inc is the Trustee. The beneficiary is River Land LLC.

BLM Coyote Buttes Wave Permit Lottery

Caught on video: Wave lottery at BLM Paria Ranger station (October 17th, 2008) a rare look at a BLM Coyote Buttes Wave Permit Lottery. A permit is required for hiking in Coyote Buttes North and South and the Wave. 10 permits are handed out by lottery each morning at the Paria BLM office.

Miami Art Works

Joanna and Michael, purchased a two story building in Miami AZ. The historic Miami building was originally a bank and then jewelry store downstairs and a boarding house upstairs. They are renovating the place up and plan on having artist live upstairs. Downstairs will be a gallery and a retail shop.

Horseshoe Bend Overlook

The Horseshoe Bend overlook is located a short distance south of Page. The Colorado River makes a huge bend more than a thousand feet below this overlook. A 3/4 mile hike up to the overlook begins from the parking area just off U.S. 89.

In 1986, the East Van Buren Street Honey Bear’s Bar B Q restaurant opened. The business was started by Mark Smith and Gary Clark. The restaurant owners recently removed the Van Buren Street restaurant's bar to expand the seating capacity. Honey Bear's BBQ has two locations in Phoenix and one in Tempe.

Tour of Bison Ranch

This is a tour of Bison Ranch located in Overgaard Arizona. We enter the 160 acre community and go by Bison Town, Bison Resort Suites Hotel, and then go by many of the nice homes, and log cabins. I noticed a few homes were for sale. Many of the neighborhood's homes have pine trees next to them. The Apache Sitgreaves National Forest is nearby.

Tour of Guadalupe Arizona

Tour of Guadalupe. The town population is 5,500 and the community was incorporated in 1975. Tour starts driving west on Guadalupe Road. I make quick drive down Calle Carlos street, then turn on Calle Biehn. The neighborhood is lined with one story homes. The tour goes south on Avenida del Yaqui street and pass by the town hall, municipal court, senior center, and a few houses along the street.

Fire Safe Arizona Community

Concho, Arizona, is a Northern Arizona fire safe community. In Concho Valley Unit 6 subdivision, the lots are 1.03 acres. This subdivision has raw land without pine trees. Power is located on the northern end of the subdivision. No water or sewer service. Filmed near Ranch Road and Kansas Lane. The large water tank in the background is owned by the City of St. Johns. The city also owns and maintains a well in the subdivision.

Maricopa Arizona Pyramid House

This is a Maricopa, Arizona pyramid house. The property has a large sign with "Pyramide Valley" on it. This video is dated November 2008. The property address is 2457 S. Warren Road. The 2,380-square-foot pyramid house contains three bedrooms, two-and-a half bathrooms on sits on 2.5 acres of land.



The house is underground, and the utility bills are almost nothing, according to a nearby resident. A house for sale sign is posted on the property.

State Route 389 Dust Storm

A dramatic March 21, 2009, dust storms was caught on camera. The sand storm video was captured on State Route 389 between Colorado City & Fredonia, according to 86isaac's YouTube video. SR 389 is the only major east-west route between the two communities.

Greer Arizona Discount Hotel Room Rates

The Greer Arizona's Greer Lodge has special discounted hotel rooms rates until Memorial Day weekend. The main lodge room prices are $99.00 Friday/Saturday nights, $69.00 Sunday/Monday nights, according to the Greer Lodge reservations department. The special ends Sunday May 17, 2009. Eleven rooms are available in the main lodge, says staff.
